A Multi-State project for tasar development in the States of West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh & Maharashtra is being implemented since October 2013 supported by the Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India (MoRD) and Central Silk Board(CSB).CSB being the Co-ordinating agency is extending required technical inputs through its field units in seed, pre-cocoon and post-cocoon sectors.
