GeM:-Government e-Marketplace (GeM) facilitates online procurement of common use Goods & Services required by various Government Departments / Organisations / PSUs. GeM aims to enhance transparency, efficiency and speed in public procurement. It provides the tools of e-bidding, reverse e-auction and demand aggregation to facilitate the government users, achieve the best value for their money.
The purchases through GeM by Government users (departments) have been authorized and made mandatory by Ministry of Finance by adding a new Rule No. 149 in the General Financial Rules. Accordingly BTSSO Office Computer section and Store section jointly initiated purchasing through GeM portal in the 2017-18
PFMS:- Public Financial Management System (PFMS) is a financial management platform for all plan schemes, a database of all recipient agencies, integration with core banking solution of banks handling plan funds.
• To monitor, review and decision support system to enhance public accountability in the implementation of plan schemes.
• Direct payment to beneficiaries and greater transparency and accountability in the use of public funds. The said system is an important tool for improving governance.And Presently it is being executed by the Account Section of this Organisation.
Central Public Procurement portal:-
The Central Public Procurement Portal of Government of India facilitates all the Central Government Organisations to publish their Tender Enquiries, Corrigenda and Award of Contract details. The system also enables users to migrate to total electronic procurement mode. |
Accordingly, all the tender enquires costing Rs.5 lakhs and above are being published on said portal by this organisation.
Mkisan:-
It is a SMS Portal for Farmers and has empowered all Central and State Government Organisations in Agriculture & Allied sectors and it is used to give information/services/advisories to farmers by SMS in their language, accordingly BTSSO organisation has been providing information to the farmers pertaining to the Sericulture Sector.
AEBAS: - AEBAS stands for Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System. The purpose AEBAS system is to enable an employee with an Aadhaar Number, to mark his/her attendance in the government offices through Biometric Authentication device.
It is an attendance management system designed for government organisations by Government of India to improve productivity of employees. The system authenticates attendance using AADHAAR number created by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). It is a cloud based BAS (Biometric Attendance System) that monitors attendance of government employees in real-time. The said system has been introduced in the BTSSO organisation in 2016-17
Biometric Attendance System:-Apart from AEBAS Biometric system an additional Biometric Machine / terminals is being used to scan fingerprints for making attendance in the BTSSO Office. With a biometric attendance system, employee attendance is accurately logged. And on account of late attendance leaves are deducted as per rules.
